Are you interested in purchasing the Richway Amethyst Biomat®, but you live in Canada and you’re wondering how much will it actually cost (in Canadian dollars) by the time it arrives are your door? How much does it cost to deliver the Biomat® to Canada

There are two things you need to consider when calculating the final cost of the Biomat®:

• ◦ the current US exchange rate for the price of the product
• ◦ UPS Brokerage fees, duty and Canadian taxes that are collected at the door

The price on my website for Richway products includes the cost of the product and shipping. These amounts are in US currency.  What is not listed on that pricing page, however, is the UPS brokerage fees, duty or Canadian taxes.

Brokerage fees:
The delivery company (as of December 2022, this is DHL), will charge a brokerage fee for clearing your shipment through customs.  At this time (December 2022), this fee is approximately $20 Canadian.

Canadian Duty:
No Duty is charged for Amethyst Biomat products- it is considered a Health Canada Medical Device

Duty is charged on the other items in the Richway product line. The duty rate will vary.
There is Canadian tax on TOP of the duty.

Canadian Taxes:
The Canadian taxes will of course vary by province/territory.

Exchange Rate:
You can refer to your personal bank’s website to get an idea of what the current exchange rate is, however, the exchange rate that your credit card company will use may vary.
