The Amethyst pillow was specially created by Richway to work with the Biomat®.  The Amethyst Pillow does not plug in.  It is a memory foam pillow, with a special cover on it that has ridges filled with Amethyst Crystals and Black Tourmaline.  This special cover can be zipped off and used on another pillow, if you would prefer to use your own pillow.

In traditional Chinese medicine, it is believed that the head should be kept cool.  Richway created the Amethyst pillow to allow people to get the therapeutic negative ion and far infrared treatment from the crystals while keeping the head cool as they enjoy a warm session on the Biomat®.

The pillow itself is firm – your head is on a layer of crystals, with the memory foam pillow underneath that.

Do you need to order the pillow with the Biomat®?

Purchasing the pillow with the Biomat® will give you a more comprehensive experience.

If you had to choose between purchasing the pillow or the Biomat® based on your budget, I would definitely opt for the Biomat®.

However, I have had some clients who LOVE the pillow and have said that if they could have just one Biomat® product, they would choose the pillow.  So it truly depends on the individual and your personal preference.
